Happy New Year 2016

My motto/goal/inspirational saying for the new year is:

If not now… then when?

2015 did a good job of reminding me how short and fragile life can be. I’m fortunate because I did not learn the lesson through personal experience. But I did share it through the hardships of some people who are very dear to me. As we enter the new year, I’m feeling the vulnerability of being in my upper 60s. I wake up each morning, and everything is still fine, but…

So my resolution is to concentrate on using my good health and my precious time to do some of the things that may not be available to me down the road.

What exactly does that mean? More travel? More new experiences? Greater appreciation for what and whom I have?

Yes, yes, and yes.

If not now… then when?

Now, a little blogging news: In the past few days, I have updated two sections of this blog. I added photos from the last half of 2015 to my Community Photo Page. And I updated my Best of Home Sweet Abbey page after studying my 2015 stats. If you’d like to take a look, you’ll find both of these sections in the menu running across the top of this page.

As always, thank you for your interest, support, encouragement, and suggestions. And Happy New Year!
